How the Staffing Decisions program works

When you sign up for Staffing Decisions, you will receive your copies of each issue on our quarterly schedule. Upon shipment, we'll invoice you for that issue (except for prepaid contracts, which are invoiced in advance).

Each issue carries your imprint and promotional material on the front page, and your return address on the back page (in black ink only). Unless you specify otherwise, each copy is tri-folded to fit a No. 10 envelope or self-mail.

Custom Options

In addition to the “generic” version of the newsletter (which has your imprint on the front and back pages), there are several low-cost additional options available:

  • Custom front page. You send us copy by e-mail (Microsoft Word, rtf or text files only). Photos may be sent by U.S. Mail or commercial delivery service, or you can e-mail scans to us. We design the page and send you a PDF proof by e-mail (or fax you a proof if you don't have an e-mail address). You e-mail or fax corrections until you are satisfied. (Cost: $50)
  • PDF version for your Web site. We can create a custom low-resolution PDF version of your 4-page newsletter appropriate for downloading from your Web site. (Cost: $25)
  • Multiple imprints at no cost. Do you need to circulate your version of Staffing Decisions to two separate segments of you market? We will provide a separate imprint free if the second version is at least 200 copies. (No charge)
  • Full 4/color available for custom pages. For an additional fee to cover plate changes (free for orders over 5,000), we can produce your custom front page in full 4-color process. The exact color fee depends on the length of the run; call for cost.
  • Sign-up Procedure

  • Fill out the order sheet and fax it to Creative Ink (details in the Ordering page).
  • We'll confirm your order by e-mail and request materials for your imprint. You send (via US mail, e-mail or fax) your imprint information, including your logo on paper (mail only) or electronic version of your logo (e-mail).
  • We e-mail you a PDF proof of your imprint, correcting it as often as necessary until you approve. (If you don't have e-mail access, this can be handled by fax).
  • Six weeks before shipping each issue, we'll e-mail an editorial outline, so you'll know what editorial material is in each issue.
  • Three weeks before shipping date is the Custom Publishing Deadline. (See Schedule) This is the deadline for submitting custom copy, making changes in your imprint or quantity or canceling your standing order. If no change information is received by this deadline, your issue will be printed with the same imprint, and in the same quantity as the previous issue and billed accordingly. We prefer contact by e-mail, and we will confirm any changes made by return e-mail (and include any new proofs for imprint approval). If you don't get an acknowledgement of changes you sent by e-mail, please call. E-mail, while convenient, is not as reliable as a phone call.
  • Your copies are drop-shipped by UPS ground for arrival by the indicated schedule date.
  • Invoices for will be sent out immediately after shipping; payment is due in 30 days. Prepaid orders will be billed two months prior to the first issue of a four-issue order.

Each order is on a till-forbid basis. That is, we will continue to send you issues per your original (or subsequently changed) order each quarter until you cancel the order by e-mail, mail or phone call and we acknowledge your cancellation.
